From October 3, 2024 to March 16, 2025, Palazzo Pallavicini will for the first time host an exhibition dedicated to Antonio Ligabue, a famous Italian expressionist painter.
The exhibition, divided into 8 rooms of the Palazzo, will tell the fascinating and tormented story of the artist through paintings, sculptures, and drawings. The exhibition highlights the art of this visionary genius, whose continuous evolution is characterized by passionate research and the use of intense yet harmonious colors.
On the occasion of the exhibition, director Ezio Aldoni will present an updated and shortened edition of the docufilm Antonio Ligabue. L'uomo (2015), which can be viewed exclusively at the exhibition.
