Alex Trusty. Contemporary Museum Watching

From 16 November 2024 to 16 February 2025, the Municipal Art Collections of the Bologna Civic Museums will host the exhibition Contemporary Museum Watching by photographer Alex Trusty. After the success in Milan, Bologna welcomes a unique exhibition dedicated to the relationship between art and spectator.

Over 50 shots capture moments of intense contemplation in front of famous and lesser-known masterpieces, from Brera to Naples, from London to New York. Trusty, with his expert photographer's eye, captures the most intimate and personal reactions of those who admire art.

Not only works of art, but museums themselves become protagonists. The architecture, the spaces, the interaction between the public and the works create a unique atmosphere, captured by Trusty's lens.
