Notre Dame de Forlì | Teatro Dehon

On Thursday 26 November 2026, Compagnia Mollier presents Notre Dame de Forlì on stage at the Teatro Dehon in Bologna.

We all know the story, but this unique, irreverent and highly comic musical version is still waiting to be discovered by many!
The show is the first parody of Victor Hugo’s most famous novel, featuring music from the Italian folk tradition. Time passes, but archetypes remain the same, unchanged through the centuries.

Set in Forlì in the early 2000s, the beautiful Smeralda is part of a travelling circus troupe that stops in the quiet Romagna town while searching for her beloved parents. More than 500 years later, the story repeats itself — but this time, instead of tears, there is laughter!
