An intimate and powerful journey through the folds of time and the waves of the sea, Manolín — freely inspired by Hemingway’s The Old Man and the Sea — has captivated audiences with its spare yet poetic language, guiding them through memories, silences, and unhealed wounds shared by two souls bound by a common sea.

Directed and performed by Michele Pirani, with original music by Maestro Francesco Paolino, the production powerfully conveys the moving bond between the old Santiago and Manolín, now a grown man, in a play of echoes between past and present — between what was and what inevitably returns.
