La Famiglia Transylvania (The Transylvania Family) | Teatro Celebrazioni

On Sunday 1 November 2026, the Teatro Celebrazioni in Bologna celebrates Halloween with La Famiglia Transylvania, the new and original comedy written and directed by Pietro Clementi.

Jack Tripper, a funny and cowardly English aristocrat, is sent with his wife to a remote castle in Transylvania to meet the parents of Ella, his son Finn’s girlfriend and future bride. What Jack does not know is that Ella is none other than the daughter of Count Dracula, as well as the granddaughter of Frankenstein, Grandma Wolf and an endless series of very likeable and clumsy monsters. The encounter-clash between the two families will have you dying… with laughter, of course!

Not only laughter, but also an important message: after a succession of hilarious gags between monsters and humans, the protagonists (and the young audience) will understand that there is no need to be afraid of differences, because there is only something to learn from them.

La Famiglia Transylvania is a hilarious comedy inspired by the famous sitcoms of the 1960s, such as “The Addams Family” and “The Munsters”. Through funny and interactive stories, the company Un Teatro da Favola brings to the stage a show designed to entertain and encourage reflection, created to amuse both children and their adult companions.
