Teatro Duse presents The Barber of Seville, an opera among the most famous and represented in the world to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the death of Gioachino Rossini. Just like for L’Elisir d’Amore, this staging of The Barber of Seville will also be open to citizens, who can take part in workshops for the creation of costumes and set designs at Mercato Sonato in September. The production will feature the collaboration of the Bologna Municipal Theatre with the participation of Accademia Corale ‘Vittore Veneziani’ from Ferrara, Komos Coro Gay from Bologna and of a few local training centres.
