The establishment was founded in 1928, conceived by Giulio Canè, who managed it until 1960. Later, the restaurant was led by the founder’s daughter, Ione Canè, and her husband Giuliano Carreri until 1983, when Gian Battista Gaddoni and his wife Giuliana took over the helm of the business for four decades.
An outstanding hospitality opportunity that over time became the "home" to many champions of both two and four-wheeled speed at the nearby Circuit Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola. It also hosted sports and entertainment figures, many of whom performed at the famous Dancing Club ‘Piro Piro’ in Toscanella di Dozza between the 1970s and 1990s. Not to forget successful entrepreneurs and managers stopping by the town after business engagements at the Bologna trade fair district.
Dozza, recognized among Italy’s most beautiful villages and certified with the Orange Flag by the Italian Touring Club, boasts the impressive Sforza fortress and the murals of the Painted Wall, creating a wonderful setting where history, art, culture, and captivating atmospheres blend seamlessly.
