Located in the natural surroundings of the Po valley, the Borgo Digani social restaurant offers a food and wine experience inspired by local traditions and the regional territory.
What makes it special is that 30% of the staff are people from vulnerable or protected groups. The restaurant doesn’t just serve great food — it also supports training, internships, and job inclusion for people going through difficult times, individuals with disabilities, and those supported by mental health services.
The space is decorated with furniture and items made at the social-occupational center run by the La Venenta social cooperative, while each table is set with handmade textiles from Trame Lab, a sewing workshop where women who have experienced violence and mothers from residential communities work.
The goal of the restaurant is to promote a message of solidarity and inclusion — reaching even those who may have never come into contact with the world of social support.
