The Grand Hotel Majestic "già Baglioni", the only prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in Bologna, part of The Leading Hotels of The World since 1995, is housed in a historic and prestigious palace dating back to the 18th century.
The hotel, inaugurated in 1912, at the height of the Belle Époque, is located in an 18th-century palazzo, just a few steps from Piazza Maggiore, in the heart of Bologna. Inside it holds true treasures: on the main floor you can admire the "Camerino d'Europa", a 16th-century masterpiece and the first known work of the Carracci, while in the basement a section of the ancient pavement of the Flaminia Militare, dating back to 189 B.C., has been restored to its splendour and is now used for temporary exhibitions.
It will be 110 years old in 2022.
