Grand Tour Italia opens its doors in Bologna from September 5th

On Thursday, September 5, 2024, Grand Tour Italia will officially open its doors to the public: more than 50,000 square meters celebrating the cultural and gastronomic biodiversity of Italy's 20 regions.

Grand Tour Italia is ready to offer an extraordinary journey through food, art, traditions and entertainment in an environment that combines education, entertainment and sustainability.

Each region has its own space made up of a landscape and tourism promotion area, a typical tavern with a chef and a rotating menu, a market with typical products from the different territories and an educational area.

Entrance to Grand Tour Italia and parking are free.

The daily schedule of activities at Grand Tour Italia includes cooking and food education courses, workshops and events.

On the occasion of the inauguration, from September 5th to 15th, the courses, workshops and the Tour of the Worlds at Grand Tour Italia will be open to the public free of charge, so that those first-time visitors will have the opportunity to try them out.

Multimedia journeys involving Mortadella, Parmigiano Reggiano, Grana Padano and wine, hands-on pasta and pizza courses, the ABCs of Wine, courses for the over-65s, workshops for children and young people held by Slow Food and much more.

Grand Tour Italia is not just a destination, but an invitation to discover, taste and experience Italy in all its glory. The park is open all year round, Thursday to Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and can be reached by shuttle from the city center of Bologna.
