Bologna
Remodeled and designed by Antonio Morandi called the "Terribilia" (1549-64), preserves in the porticoed façade a loggia from the late fifteenth century. Inside there is an eighteenth-century staircase by A. Bonetti in Bibiena style, with a Virgin by D. Piò, author also of the Hercules in the perspectival backdrop of the courtyard (1775). At "piano nobile" rooms frescoed by Bonetti and D. A. Zanotti with stucco reliefs always by Piò (1776). (Source: I cartigli di Salaborsa) Once owned by the noble Orsi family, the palace (XVI century) was bought in 1903 by Giuseppe Marconi and then inherited by his son Alfonso, Guglielmo's old brother.
