Please be advised that on Friday, July 25, 2025, operations will be closed from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM due to a scheduled power outage on Strada Maggiore.
Normal activities will resume on Saturday, July 26.
In addition to the permanent collection the museum will organise meetings open to the public, conferences, study days and temporary exhibitions.

The Museum is a non-profit organisation and its main objective will be to protect and promote artistic, book and archive collections and any other evidence of the activities of artists, especially those from the Bologna area, born between the 19th and 20th centuries.
The Amici del Museo Ottocento Bologna initiative will allow interested parties to support the institution's artistic activities and cultural programmes.
