"It’s red, good and organic - what more would you want from a tomato? That it's grown fairly! And Piazza Grande Bio products definitely are. Piazza Grande Bio is a Social Farming project involving two important social cooperatives in our area: Piazza Grande and Piazza Martino, after which our business is named. We set up care and working programmes for people with disabilities. In July 2017, we became a completely autonomous company employing 10 people from rehabilitation and work programmes. We own just under two hectares in Valsamoggia, near Crespellano. We produce vegetables that hold the Organic certification (Icea) and honey in cooperation with the Department of Mental Health and Auser".
