Cultura Italiana was born in 1980 as centre for the diffusion of the Italian language and culture all over the world. We cooperate with many Universities such as Università di Bologna, Università per stranieri di Siena and Università di Venezia. It’s easy here to meet people and to communicate in Italian. The intensive course consists of 4 hours per day of lesson in a group, 2 hours of homework and a cultural program of extracurricular activities. Part of that program is specifically designed for every participant having some special interest. A doctor, an architect or a teacher i.e. can meet an Italian colleague at work. People interested in football or in motorcycles can join a football team fan club or a Ducati bikers’ club. Cultura Italiana is the first school in Italy, that had been legally recognized by the Government and the only one in Bologna specialized in teaching Italian to foreigners. The school offers a free accommodation service c/o hotels, families, apartments. Cultura Italiana offers a discount to people over 60 and to Erasmus/Socrates students.
