Hotels and Other Accommodations
Hotels and B&Bs are open. Remember to book in advance so that your hosts can guarantee you a safe stay. Visitors can expect deep and frequent cleaning and enforced social distancing measures.
Restaurants and Bars
In the attempt to contain the spread of the Coronavirus, bars and restaurants will be closed.
However, catering is still allowed with home delivery, as well as catering with take-away until 10pm. For what concerns bars, take-away is permitted until 6pm.
There are no limitations for restaurants inside airports and on highways.
Shops and Markets (Plus Commercial Activities)
All shops and markets are open and waiting for you. You are expected to wear a face mask before entering any of these settings.
On weekends and public holidays, shopping centres are closed except for pharmacies, grocery stores, tobacconists and newsstands.
Make sure you maintain a social distance of at least 1m between other patrons. Do your best to not linger inside shops for longer than necessary.
Taxis, buses and trains run regularly and are sanitized every day. For a safe journey follow the directions given at the stops and on the vehicles and wear the mask. You can rent cars and bikes, but book in advance, so the vehicles will always be sanitized before being delivered to you.

Tourist offices are open. Come and visit us at Bologna Welcome Piazza Maggiore Mon-Sat 9am-6pm; Sun 10am-5pm and at eXtraBo Mon-Sat 10am-6pm; Sun 11am-5pm
Museums and Exhibitions
In the attempt to contain the spread of the Coronavirus, museums will be closed and exhibitions will be suspended.
Parks, Gardens and Sport Facilities
Parks and gardens are open to walk in nature, go for a run and/or a breath of fresh air; please remember to respect social distancing rules and avoid large gatherings. The activities of gyms, swimming pools, wellness centres and spas, ski facilities are suspended.
Conferences, conventions, fairs and other events are suspended, with the exception of those that take place remotely.
Religious sights remain open.

Cultural and Leisure Activities
Cinemas, theatres and concert halls will be closed in the attempt to contain the spread of the Coronavirus. For the same reason, clubs remain closed too.
Until 5th March 2021 you will be allowed to go out from 5am to 10pm. It is mandatory to wear face masks both in outdoor and indoor spaces. Remember that traveling outside Emilia-Romagna and your municipality is not allowed, unless for work, study and health reasons.
