On Sunday 10 November, on the occasion of the Feast of San Martino, Canali di Bologna extraordinarily opens the gates of the Paraporto Scaletta (via Scaletta 1, Casalecchio di Reno). The Paraporto Scaletta, better known as the Casa dei Ghiacci, is a hydraulic site of great importance to guarantee the safety and cleanliness of the Canale di Reno, which is located not far from the monumental Chiusa di Casalecchio. It is a complex formed by three paraports (Scaletta, San Luca and Verocchio) joined by a suggestive walkway placed between the river Reno and the canal. Immersed in a natural setting suspended in time, you can enter a place normally not accessible to the public to discover its history. At 16:00 you can discover the secrets of this place with a free guided tour by reservation (prenotazioni@canalidibologna.it, +393895950213) accompanied by Fabio Marchi - Canali di Bologna. To follow, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm Celebrations of San Martino: in an intimate atmosphere between candles and reflections on the Canal you can taste an aperitif with tigelle and wine from the farm ORO DI DIAMANTI, the roast chestnuts of Castagneto del Casone and for the little ones the sweets of the Filippini Pastry with the music companion of PIAZZA GRANDE one of the most significant concerts tribute to LUCIO DALLA. Not a simple tribute, but a journey through the great music and poetry of Lucio.
