The Chiusa di Casalecchio opens its gates on Saturday November 24th, from 09:30 to 12:30 (free access). "Water is a source of life, its conservation and sharing with its neighbors are sources of peace": it is with this motivation that UNESCO has decided to include the Chiusa di Casalecchio di Reno in the list of the 2000-2010 program of Heritage Messengers of a Culture of Peace for young people. To remember the title received in 2010, the Consortium organizes this special opening (entrance from via Porrettana, 187 - Casalecchio di Reno), where in the main stages along the walkway, the Consortium and the volunteers of FAI GIOVANI BOLOGNA will be available to tell the story and the functions of this ancient artefact. In addition there will be two free workshops "Water has peace inside!", Organized by the Association Dire, Fare and Aggregare and dedicated to children on the theme of peace.
