Bologna
Sixty years after his birth, Bologna celebrates Keith Haring (1958-1990) one of the most significant USA contemporary artist of the 20th century, whose fame can be compared to the Andy Warhol one. At Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna, till February 25th, 2018, on show over 60 works coming from prestigious public and private collections, most of them new to the large public. The exhibition aims at spreading the knowledge of the life and the activity of Keith Haring, who was an iconic painter and a celebrity of the street-art in New York. Many events and collaborations will enliven the exhibition, such as performances, student and performer flash mob, labs and guided visits both in Italian and in English. Party of life. Keith Haring, a vision is curated by Diana di Nuzzo and organized by Contemporary Concept, in collaboration with Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna, Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna, Istituto Artistico Francesco Arcangeli International School of Bologna, GVC onlus, NPS Italia onlus.
