A market conceived as a meeting place, to find - or re-find - the relationship of trust between producers and consumers. A market that is beyond a market, with the purpose of meeting others and sharing altogether the importance of protecting agriculture and those working the land, to safeguard the environment as well as human health.
The market takes place at Villa Garagnani, a historical eighteenth century residence in Zola Predosa, which links the two contrasting worlds, urban and rural, in a countryside that already intermingles with the city. Here, the producers come from the hills and the plains nearby and the consumers will have the opportunity to learn about and visit the nearby production sites. Thanks to the direct sales and direct relationship with the consumers, the producers can describe their work and have an immediate feedback on the quality of their products. As in the markets of the past.
The market will be held every Wednesday, up to becoming a consolidated weekly shopping appointment and to encourage responsible consumption.
