Bologna
The Raccolta Lercaro hosts the exhibition of three Marian-themed works made by Ettore Frani, Marcello Mondazzi and Daniela Novello, on the occasion of Devotio, exhibit of works for the religious world held in Bologna from 8 to 11 October. The choice to propose the image of the Mother of God to the attention of these artists was made both to commemorate the centenary of the apparitions in Fatima and above all to propose a theme of current devotion: the expression of the intensity of interior silence, trait characterizing the personality of Mary of Nazareth. The exhibition "Maria La bellezza di un volto tra passato e presente" will be open from 27 November 2017 to the beginning of January 2018. The works of art by Frani and Novello, offered to the Diocesi of Rieti and Ascoli Piceno by Devotio, will be brought to the temporary churches of Amatrice and Arquata del Tronto at the beginning of January 2018. more information and updates www.fondazionelercaro.it
