Mandala is a performance that cannot be repeated: just like an actual mandala, it is “erased” after being created. In 2011, during the festival “Visioni Di Futuro, Visioni Di Teatro”, Omar Meza, Silvia Traversi and Yutaka Takei - three dancers with a common training background at Pina Bausch’s and Carolyn Carlson’s dance schools - met with Valeria Frabetti of La Baracca and created their first Mandala. For the 2018 edition of the festival, they will create a new one, offering the spectators an artistic experience that amplifies senses and emotions through movement.
