Bologna
This quintet, that includes musicians awarded in international competitions and featured in the most important chamber music festivals, was founded as part of “Lauter Project”, a listening education initiative aimed at instilling love for chamber music in younger audiences. Stephen Waarts (violin), Nicola Bruzzo (violin), Karolina Errera (viola), Alexey Stadler (cello) and Gabriele Carcano (piano) will offer a programme that presents two Beethoven’s Sonatas together with Shostakovich’s Quintet: a combination aimed at highlighting the analogies between these two composers, the strong link with history that characterizes their work and, at the same time, their modernity.
