From July 16th to 30th Imola will become the centre of international piano and chamber music, with an unprecedented programme of events. The seventh edition of Imola Summer Piano Academy & Festival was launched by the International Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola with an innovative formula: a Summer School organised during the day with the Academy's teachers, where not only students but also young international musicians can enroll to, as well as a series of evening concerts where the top names of the classical music figure. Thanks to the projects put in place by the Academy, many young pianists coming from China, Japan and Australia will take part in the Summer School. The "Premio Città di Imola" (City of Imola Prize) will also take place within the festival, with € 20,000 in prize money up for grabs.
