A cycle of meetings focused on the development of music entrepreneurship and on the strengthening of managerial skills aimed at young musicians and operators working in the music business.
October 10th – 5 pm – Cappella Farnese, Palazzo d’Accursio, Piazza Maggiore 6 Cos’è il Crowdfunding di Musicraiser (What’s Musicaraiser's crowdfunding?) with Giovanni Gulino, Musicraiser CEO How to fund a production, recording or promotion of a new project, how to launch a suitable crowdfunding campaign through case history analysis. The event will be preceded at 4 pm by the presentation of the MED Chebec European project for the internalisation of cultural and creative businesses and by the launch of Bologna si mette in gioco, which involves the creation of videogames for the promotion of cultural heritage.
October 24th – 5 pm – Museo internazionale e biblioteca della musica di Bologna, Strada Maggiore 34 Fare musica: l’autore, l’artista e il produttore fra diritti d’autore e diritti contesi (Making music: authors, artists and producers between copyright and disputed rights Workshop conducted by Raffaella Pellegrino, lawyer specialised in copyright and intellectual property law. Contracts to transfer copyright, the relationship with SIAE and other collective management companies, introductions made by the European Union for the safeguard and recognition of authors’ rights.
November 14th – 5 pm – Museo internazionale e biblioteca della musica di Bologna, Strada Maggiore 34 Come vestire una canzone, la figura del produttore artistico nella musica (How to dress up a song - artistic production in music) with Taketo Gohara, artistic producer and sound engineer, producer of ‘Vivere o morire’ by Motta. Producers are generally versatile, but their main role is to dress up a project, to create a tailored dress for artists. A few pre- and post-production demos will be analysed during the event.
December 5th – 5 pm – Museo internazionale e biblioteca della musica di Bologna, Strada Maggiore 34 Tutto ciò che un musicista deve sapere sulla distribuzione digitale (Everything that a musician must know on digital distribution) with Luca Stante, Believe Digital CEO The world of distribution, how to get a record from the studio to the fans and how distribution has changed with digital technologies.
December 12th – 5 pm – Museo internazionale e biblioteca della musica di Bologna, Strada Maggiore 34 L’importanza della comunicazione nella musica (The importance of communication in music) with Georgia Taglietti, communications manager at Sonar Festival, Barcelona Contemporary communication for online and offline events
All meetings will take place between 5 pm and 7.30 pm: the first one on October 10th will exceptionally be held in Cappella Farnese (Palazzo D’Accursio, 2nd floor), while the rest will be held in the event hall of the Museo internazionale e biblioteca della musica, Strada Maggiore 34.
Meetings are open to anyone and entry is free on a first come, first served basis (no booking required)
