Marsala District, homeless collective 'invades' a private house: this place/ experiment takes the name of Barrhaus in homage to the surname of the owner and winking at the German avant-garde movement. Barrhaus is immersed in the green district Murri and accepts the nature, letting itself be crossed by a green lung fil rouge between the work of the exhibited artists. Among these there is a very intimate female focus in the shots of the Belgian artist Bénédicte Vanderreydt, in Tutto è dato by Francesca Cattelani and in the work in progress My (m) other by Alice Cannara. Barrhaus promotes the multidisciplinary admixture of the arts, breaking down the common frontiers between domestic and public. Barrhaus aims to accommodate but also destabilize its audience by proposing a reflection on the role of women as archetypes and as future bodies. Barrhaus exposes himself to the city as a bridge that crosses art, femininity and identity, and also celebrates new forms of artistic expression and interpretation of nature in Landscape 5.0. unveiled by the immersive work land lighting La Vigna by Diego Repetto, Piedmontese land designer and designer. Project in collaboration with DAMSLab Dipartimento delle Arti and Festival Exit, Set Up Contemporary.
