Bologna
On Saturday 22nd September you will experience an atmosphere of other times in Bologna, where dozens of dancers, coming from all over Italy, will perform a dancing event in costume on the notes of Verdi, Rossini e Strauss. Directed by the cultural association Società di Danza Bolognese (Society of Bolognese Dance), the "Grand Ball of the nineteenth century"will be staged in the central Piazza del Nettuno, with more than 100 dancers performing waltzes, contredances, mazurkas and polkas. Now in its third edition, the event is part of “Le Salsamentarie 2018”, the Bolognese exhibition of flavours that will take place from 21st to 23rd September in the picturesque setting of Palazzo Re Enzo.
