3rd October 1926, Ernesto Maserati driving the first car completely designed and built by the Maserati brothers, the Type 26 of 1500cc with compressor is ranked First Absolute also beating other competitors with 2000cc displacements and beyond such as the Bugatti 2000cc by Stefanelli and Buoninsegna and the Foroni di Foroni. The car driven by Ernesto Maserati is the result of the constructive genius of his brother Alfieri and takes a further step in the path of the glorious brand, confirming the success of the victorious debut in the first class some months before Alfieri at the Targa Florio. More than 90 years later, on the same demanding path, the SAN LUCA TEAM wanted to recall this enterprise of great significance.
