Before I came into the world, I was just a bigger island together with my mama. Then I was born. And I started to swim, like an island, in my own sea.
Archipelago is a metaphor about birth and necessary separation. It is about distance, that is not always separation. It is about the importance of building bridges, which you can cross in both directions. It is the metaphor of a kind of relationship that is always changing, without becoming less important.
Every child is an island, embraced by the seaside.
Archipelago is a show for two performers, played between physical images and poetical words.
