The ring of Tossignano between the castle and the starry sky - Star Walks

The walk begins at the Parcheggio della Quercia car park. From here, the route climbs towards the village of Tossignano, reaching Tossignano Castle, where there will be a stop to take in the views of Riva di San Biagio.

The route then continues downhill along the Cammino di Sant’Antonio until it reaches the area near the cemetery of Borgo Tossignano.

At sunset, you will head back up towards Tossignano following trail 705, thus completing a loop that brings you back to the vicinity of the starting point.

At the end of the walk, until around 11.00 pm, there will be a guided observation of the night sky, using a laser pointer and a large telescope.

• We recommend wearing hiking boots and long trousers, and bringing a jumper or jacket for the cool evening, a blanket, a torch, insect repellent, a packed dinner and a supply of water.
• Pets are allowed, but must be kept on a lead
• The location is not accessible by public transport
