From Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October 2026, BOLO GETS HIGH returns to Bologna with three days dedicated to slacklining, highlining, climbing, yoga and circus disciplines.
For three days, from 9:00 am until sunset, athletes will cross four highlines suspended between five towers and bell towers in Bologna’s historic city centre: Torre Prendiparte, the bell tower of San Pietro, Torre Arengo, Torre dell’Orologio and, for the first time, the bell tower of San Petronio.
In Piazza Maggiore, a 4-metre bouldering wall will also be available for both beginners and those wishing to take part in competitions. Visitors will also be able to try beginner slacklines and join yoga and circus workshops.
The programme also includes a photography exhibition at Sala Tassinari in Palazzo d’Accursio, open throughout the event.

Climbing wall programme:
- Friday: 10:00 am-6:00 pm, supervised open access.
- Saturday: 10:00 am-2:00 pm, supervised open access; 2:30 pm-6:00 pm, Boulder contest.
- Sunday: 10:00 am-2:00 pm, supervised open access; 2:30 pm-6:00 pm, Boulder contest.
Registration for the Boulder contest is available each day until 2:00 pm at the Presa B+ stand.
The event is organised by Slackline Bologna ASD and Presa B+, in collaboration with Territorio Turistico Bologna-Modena and the Municipality of Bologna.
