Appenninica MTB Stage Race

Appenninica MTB Stage Race is the 2025 mountain bike stage race on the ridge of the Apennines in Emilia-Romagna, scheduled from 23 to 27 June. A competition that offers participants beautiful routes and spectacular ridge landscapes, including villages and unspoilt nature.

Starting from Lizzano in Belvedere, along five stages, the race will reach Castelnovo ne' Monti, touching the provinces of Bologna, Modena and Reggio Emilia, through some of the most famous mountains of the Apennines: the Corno alle Scale, the Cimone district, Mount Cusna and the Pietra di Bismantova.

Every year the race attracts competitors from all over the world, with more foreign participation, especially from Northern European countries, but with a good representation also from South America and the United States.
