Stefano Bollani in Concert – Music Becomes Research

On Monday, 29 December 2025 at 8:30 PM, the MAST Auditorium in Bologna will host an extraordinary event: Stefano Bollani in concert, presenting an eclectic solo piano repertoire that will surprise and enchant the audience.

As has become customary whenever Stefano Bollani takes the stage, each concert promises to be a unique experience. Nothing in his performances is predetermined: the show is reborn every night with an always-unexpected repertoire, where the musical flow is guided by the inspiration of the moment, in a grand musical game driven by improvisation and creativity.

There is, however, one constant in Bollani’s shows: his remarkable connection with the audience, who are called upon each time to help shape the evening’s program with their unpredictable requests.

The event is organized by Fondazione AIRC for cancer research. All proceeds will be donated to research on childhood cancers—a concrete gesture of solidarity paired with the magic of music.
