Two contemporary dance performances meet on the same day at the Fienile Fluò, 31 August, in an immersive journey through nature, body and sound.
EVERYBODY HAS A FATE by Riccardo De Simone, with Laura Chieffo, reflects on time and the instability of the present. Electro-pop beats, slide boards and incessant movements create a hypnotic rhythm that crosses past and future in a continuous dance.
SEQUOIA, conceived by Matteo Mascolo with Chiara Esposito, Alessia Tagliabue and Rebecca Lanzoni, explores the invisible link between human being and forest. The sounds, composed by Davide Nardelli and Simone Spampinato, transform the real electric waves of a sequoia and another plant, recorded with the PlantsPlay device, into music.
Both performances take place on the same day, as part of the Scena Natura Open programme, dedicated to young artists, with the support of Sala Nera (Temple of the Lost Future), Dare To Share Collective (Road to Nowhere 24/25 residencies), Crexida/Anima Fluò, Olfattiva, Vaia and Settore Nazionale Forest Bathing.
