San GiovAnni'50

The Parco delle Piscine in San Giovanni in Persiceto is transformed into an authentic plunge into the past with the San GiovAnni '50s Festival, scheduled from 29 to 31 August and from 5 to 7 September 2025. Six evenings dedicated to the energy, music and unmistakable style of the 1950s.

Bands and artists from abroad will take turns on stage, while the public will be able to go wild with concerts, DJ sets, dance performances and “first steps” lessons with dance schools, as well as the well-established Dance Camp with world boogie woogie champions. There will also be traditional flavours with food stands, piadinas and local specialities, as well as a vintage market, a barber shop, a rockabilly-style hair and make-up area, merry-go-rounds and vintage cars, this year more numerous than ever.

Special initiatives include the return of "Giocattolo sospeso" (suspended toys), in collaboration with the Piccoli Grandi Cuori Onlus association, to bring a smile to children and young people suffering from congenital heart disease hospitalised at the Policlinico Sant'Orsola in Bologna.
