In a very short space of time, the Vanvitelli Quartet, born in 2017, has managed to conquer a strong and precise identity. First of all thanks to the originality of the formation that brings together violin, harpsichord, archlute and cello. And secondly through a very careful choice of repertoire that favors composers of the Neapolitan school active and renowned in eighteenth-century Europe. After having focused its attention on Michele Mascitti, a violinist from Chieti who became very famous in Paris, the Quartet dedicated itself to the rediscovery of Giuseppe Agus, a Sardinian violinist trained in Naples, who lived for many years between London and Paris.
