Puccini meets jazz, jazz meets Puccini, and a quartet meets orchestra
Two musical languages and two seemingly distant ensembles find in this concert-event a communion of notes that will reveal how some of the most famous arias from Puccini's operas (from 'Tosca' to 'Madama Butterfly' to 'La Bohème') can lead audiences into new and partly unexplored territory.
- Piero Odorici, tenor and soprano saxophone
- Nico Menci, piano
- Paolo Benedettini, double bass
- Roberto Gatto, drums
- Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipal Theater of Bologna
- Roberto Molinelli, conducting and orchestra arrangements
- Andrea Maioli, storytelling
Concert organized in collaboration with the Filarmonica del Teatro Comunale di Bologna
