Omaggio ad Astor Piazzolla (A Tribute to) | Musica con Vista 2026

On Monday 6 July 2026 at 9:00 PM, Palazzo di Varignana – Terrazza Bentivoglio hosts the concert Tribute to Astor Piazzolla, as part of Musica con Vista 2026.

For nearly a century, Astor Piazzolla has stood as one of the greatest composers and performers of a unique and captivating musical language, born in the outskirts of late 19th-century Buenos Aires from the encounter of different cultures, languages, and traditions. Tango continues to express the migrant’s journey, suspended between separation and hope.

With the theatrical presence of the bandoneon played by Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi, the distinctive sound of clarinetist Alessandro Carbonare, and the expressive artistry of pianist Gloria Campaner, the colors and rhythms of “Nuevo Tango” sound as contemporary as ever. The performance will be enriched by tango dancers Chiara Benati and Andrea Vighi, Argentine tango champions.

From 8:00 PM, guests will be welcomed with a cocktail reception featuring a tasting of extra virgin olive oils and wines from Palazzo di Varignana.
