The Ukrainian conductor Oksana Lyniv is again in the spotlight together with another violinist: her compatriot Valeriy Sokolov, winner in 2005 of the First Prize at the George Enescu International Competition in Bucharest, playing two contemporary pieces: the Funeral Concerto by the German composer Karl Amadeus Hartmann - written at the outbreak of World War II - and the Violin Concerto No. 3 by the award-winning Ukrainian composer Jevhen Stankovyč.
The programme is completed by the Suite from Richard Wagner's Parsifal in the arrangement by Claudio Abbado, with the artists of the TCBO Choir prepared by Gea Garatti Ansini.
