Bologna
On 19 and 20 April at the Basilica of Santa Maria dei Servi, two new appointments in the Musicaiservi concert season arrive. The event is dedicated to a special anniversary: the centenary of the death of the great master Giacomo Puccini.
The programme includes:
- 19 April: Mass of Glory introduced by two intermezzos written by the composer and conducted by Maestro Lorenzo Bizzarri
- 20 April: opera arias with historical introduction by Prof. Piero Mioli Choir and instrumentalists of the Cappella Musicale di S.Maria dei Servi (Baritone: Giammarco Durante Soprano: Cristina Ferri, Piano: Maria Laura Berardo)
The great tenor Fabio Armiliato will be the special guest on both evenings.
