On Wednesday April 15, 2026 at 7:30 PM, the closing event of MIA - Music Together in the University 2026, a series conceived by Musica Insieme in collaboration with the University of Bologna, will take place at the DAMSLab / Auditorium.
The final MIA concert, in collaboration with the Centro La Soffitta - Department of the Arts, is entrusted to one of today’s most important performers: Carlo Boccadoro. A composer, pianist, and conductor, Boccadoro is the founder of the ensemble Sentieri Selvaggi, dedicated since 1997 to the promotion of new music, and has always been active as a communicator, both through his numerous books and as the well-known voice of the “Music Lessons” on RAI Radio 3. The concert will be preceded by a meeting open to the public and to students of the University of Bologna, also on April 15 at 3:30 PM at the DAMSLab Auditorium, as part of the Storie musicali della Soffitta series.
For MIA, Carlo Boccadoro will perform and present Underwater by Ludovico Einaudi.
MIA – Music Together in the University is made possible with the support of Banco Desio and Municipality of Bologna | Culture and Creativity Department, Emilia-Romagna Region and Ministry of Culture, with technical sponsorship by SOS Graphics.
