McCoy Legends | Bologna Jazz Festival

McCoy Legends is a tribute to McCoy Tyner, the great jazz musician who passed away in 2020 at the age of 81. Bassist Avery Sharpe, who accompanied Tyner for more than twenty years in countless bands, takes up his musical legacy with the utmost authority, knowing how to capture its many aesthetic facets. With him on stage are Antonio Faraò on piano, Ronnie Burrage on drums, Chico Freeman on saxophones and Steve Turre on trombone.
