A Tribute to Gianni Rodari and Remo Vinciguerra
Two great figures of children’s culture, writer and poet Gianni Rodari (1920–1980) and composer Remo Vinciguerra (1956–2022), come together for the first time through the talent of Lella Costa and Alberto Nosè.
This poetic and musical duet intertwines Rodari’s nursery rhymes, fairy tales, poems and prose with Vinciguerra’s piano works, drawn from some of his best-known collections, including Colored Preludes, Nuances, Metropolitan Journeys and Piano Horror.
Often referred to as the “Mozart of childhood,” Vinciguerra’s compositions are among the most frequently performed works in conservatories and music schools, alongside classics by Bach, Czerny, Duvernoy, Beyer, Clementi and Dussek. These authentic piano gems are distinguished by their unmistakable grace and charm.
