Le Birrette is a women ska band born in Bologna in 2015. Their music reveals the love for Jamaican rhythm and sounds from the 60s and 70s: from ska to rocksteady, from roots to reggae.
Their inspiration derives from the most famous vocal trios like The Techniques, The Gaylads, The Pioneers, and from Studio One and Treasure Isle instrumental session produced bands, such as Tha Skatalites, Sound Dimension, Soul Vendors. This vocal harmonies and instrumental groove combo is what the girls are seeking for.
