On Saturday, May 23, 2026, the Locomotiv Club in Bologna hosts Laïoung and his band Rare Kind for a live performance bringing to the stage the full sonic identity of Asante, the artist’s new record project embodying his urban fusion vision. Asante — a Swahili word meaning “thank you”, expressing deep gratitude towards all the people who accompanied Laïoung on this journey, from his team and family to the fans who supported his artistic evolution — is more than an album: it is the expression of a personal and constantly evolving musical universe, where hip hop, trap, R&B, reggaeton, amapiano and dancehall coexist naturally, creating an international and deeply identity-driven sonic language.
