The Teatro Mazzacorati 1763, for the Passione in Musica 2022/2023 review, presents an evening dedicated to the guitar with the Kairos Guitar Quartet, a chamber ensemble born in 2018 in Bologna and renewed in 2021.
The current members of the quartet are Francesco Aquino, Carlos Rivero Campero, Ferdinando Termini and Luciano Drusiani, who, coming from different backgrounds, bring together in a single project their passion and artistic-musical experience, built up and sustained by their own human and study paths through the instrument.
The art of the guitar in the quartet formation is an intimate research in the conformation of a programme of different musical works, between the ancient and contemporary repertoire of important authors such as Bach and Piazzolla, with some original transcriptions by the quartet itself.
