Hissed Syntax

During his residency at CRIV, Nardella assembled and modified organ pipes from across Europe in real time, creating a site-specific spatial sound composition. The result is a hypnotic and contemplative experience, blending the solemn voice of the organ with the experimental textures of drone music.

An artist deeply engaged in the exploration of hyper-amplified, imperceptible sounds, Nardella has released several albums and composed soundtracks for both Italian and international films. He is also the curator of Ek Dam, a series focused on electroacoustic improvisation. "Hissed Syntax" is the outcome of his residency within the Research in Residence 2025 program.
