Gipsy Caravan

On 15 August at the Fienile Fluò comes the overwhelming energy of Gipsy Caravan, a flexible and dynamic line-up born in Bologna, which fuses traditional Gypsy music with American swing.

In the wake of the musical culture of European gypsies, who prefer strings and bows to woodwinds and brass, the group proposes a sonic journey through tzigane gallops, musette waltzes and the great swing classics made famous by Django Reinhardt. A repertoire that vibrates with passion, rhythm and freedom. The project is the brainchild of guitarist Andrea Menabò (Jazz Norris, Mama Afrika, Eusebio Martinelli Gipsy Orkestar) together with the multifaceted Nicolò Scalabrin, a session player and studio musician for artists such as Sfera Ebbasta, Rkomi, Irama, Ernia, Elettra Lamborghini and many others.
