A singer, songwriter and dancer from Recife, Flaira Ferro was introduced to art through dance at the age of six and spent her childhood surrounded by artistic impulses related to Pernambuco's popular culture. She was a student of the legendary maestro Nascimento do Passo, performed at festivals in Brazil and abroad and in shows with the Municipal School of Frevo in Recife, and was a member of Cia de Dança Antonio Nóbrega (São Paulo).
Her show, together with multi-instrumentalist Lucas Dan and percussionist Philipp Bernhart, mixes organic and traditional elements with modern rock, funk and pop in a hybrid, tropical and interactive language.
