Bologna
From August 5th to 26th, 2023 at the Sostegno del Battiferro four appointments for the XVI edition of the "Klezmer & Surroundings" Festival:
- Saturday 5 August: MULÈ, a quartet of musical formation that is linked to nomadic swing.
- Saturday 12 August: BALKAN BAZAR, mainly inspired by the Albanian musical culture (also extended to the whole Balkan area), contaminating it with continental rock.
- Saturday 19 August: MARCO FERRARI and FABIO TRICOMI, klezmer music.
- Saturday 26 August: BULGARISH TANGO, a journey that starts from Klezmer music and Yiddish song, encroaches on repertoires that are close to this music by geographical proximity or stylistic affinities (Balkan music, music from the Mediterranean world) and arrives at tango, following European emigration to Argentina in the 19th and 20th centuries.
