Eugenio Bennato, the great master of Italian folk music, will perform on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Teatro Bibiena in Sant’Agata Bolognese.

With Taranta Power, he has revitalized and brought international attention to the great musical traditions of southern Italy. Now approaching fifty years of his career, Bennato remains a key figure for the modernity of his sound and the relevance of his lyrics, which focus on some of the most pressing issues of our time: migration, respect for diversity, and solidarity.

From the southern shores of the Mediterranean, from pensiero meridiano (southern thought), and through encounters with different stories and cultures, Eugenio Bennato has written his personal story of rhythms and words — always true to himself and his ideas.
